Sanjoy Mukherjee, born on August 14, 1983, in Shantipur State General Hospital, Nadia, overcame challenging circumstances to become the Chairman & MD of S.I Surgical Pvt. Ltd. in Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Raised in poverty, he defied stereotypes about Bengalis' disinterest in business and built a 250-crore medical equipment company, making it East India’s most successful.

Early Life and Struggles

Sanjoy's childhood was marked by financial struggles. Despite hardships, he focused on establishing his dream project. From selling surgical equipment for livelihood protection to studying while working as a salesman, Sanjoy's determination led to a successful venture under sole proprietorship, creating a business base of around 250 crores.

Career Beginnings

Starting as an LPG Gas Pipeline Salesman, Sanjoy transitioned to selling surgical equipment. His initial frustrations turned into success, with his first significant sale at Swasti Hospital, Magra, marking a turning point.

Establishment of SI Pvt. Ltd.

In 2006, Sanjoy registered SI Pvt Ltd., starting with a small showroom. Facing personal tragedies in 2007, he received crucial support from Dr. Vijay Khandelwal, enabling him to continue the business.
